In this interactive workshop, Antonio will discuss designing writing assignments with GenAI as an option. Instructors learn how to design writing assignments according to process pedagogy and discover where GenAI fits in students' writing processes. Antonio will share ways students and faculty can download GenAI directly on their laptops to reduce energy consumption and to protect student data from GenAI companies. Faculty are encouraged to bring their writing assignments to share with each other and brainstorm where a GenAI option might be possible for their students.
