The UMKC Roo Advising Scope of Practices include but not limited to the services offered such as academic planning, course selection, major/minor exploration along with maintaining confidentiality, staying informed about university policies and procedures, providing a supportive and inclusive advising environment. Roo Advising is also committed to effective communication, maintaining high ethical standards, documentation, and record-keeping. It is our mission to work with the UMKC community to empower students to plan and manage their academic careers.
