This session offers an overview of the IRB process and procedures at UMKC from developing a protocol application through study completion. Participate in this session to:

• Find out how to avoid frequent errors that cause delays in the review process.
• Gain insight into the consent processes.
• Be able to navigate the complete life-cycle of a human subjects research project after IRB approval: changes, reportable events, study completion, data storage, and potential audits.
